Shuttleworth College
If you are coming from overseas to sit your exams, you have the choice of just about any of the CAA's exam centres. Gatwick is usually the first choice, for obvious reasons, but Bedford (Shuttleworth) has some hidden advantages.
Read on to read what they are...
Cheap and fairly quick to get to from both Gatwick and Heathrow via National Express bus (to Milton Keynes, then Bus X5 to Bedford). Some have reported that it is actually cheaper to go Heathrow to Bedford, than Heathrow to Gatwick, if you do your research thoroughly.
Cheaper accommodation. We recommend the following B+Bs (based upon previous students' reports of cleanliness, value for money, breakfast, location etc.): The Elms (creditcard payments accepted), Victoria Guest House (right next-door to The Elms - creditcard payments accepted), Bethany House (cash/cheque payments only)

Share a taxi to the exam centre. Bedford to Shuttleworth in a 4-seater only £12, an 8-seater less than £20.
Free internet access at Bedford Library (up-to 9.00pm), which is easy walking distance to all the above accommodations, for your last-minute practice on club66pro.com.
A large exam centre, with a good canteen, and always with spare places, means you are more likely to get the exam sitting and am/pm that you want.
We are not just saying this because Shuttleworth is right on our own doorstep - this post is in response to recent comments from our students who have year's of experience of flying to the UK to do the exams at various venues.
